Former actor and model Tanushree Dutta has levelled sexual harassment allegations against veteran actor Nana Patekar. The ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ star in an interview to Zoom TV had opened up on the incident that had taken place in 2008 on the sets of ‘Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss’. The actress accused actor Nana Patekar of not only insisting on shooting an intimate song sequence in the movie even though it was not mentioned in the contract but also of wanting to touch her inappropriately. She further added that the actor had later sent political party goons to intimidate her.
Tanushree also slammed choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who was on the sets at the time, and the movie’s producer for not taking a stand for her. Ganesh Acharya reacted to Tanushree’s allegation against Nana Patekar; says he can never do that.
Tanushree has been getting support from actresses like Kalki Koechlin, Priyanka Chopra, Raveena Tandon and now we have ‘Love Sonia’ star Frieda Pinto too coming out in support of Dutta.
Frieda took to her Instagram handle and wrote a long message, part of which reads, ‘India – Stand Up, Speak Up. Don’t look to just your superstars to speak up. Be your own role models and follow the voice of your conscience. Follow the truth and stand by a woman’s right to be her own wind keeper. You may just end up setting an example for many others who probably need your grit and courage to speak up.
I SUPPORT TANUSHREE DUTTA.’

Tanushree Dutta, a former beauty queen, has featured in films such as ‘Dhol’, ‘Risk’ and ‘Good Boy, Bad Boy’. She was last seen in 2010 film ‘Apartment’.
We do hope more and more stars come out in support of Tanushree Dutta and also set a movement to not only bring the dark side of Bollywood out in the open but also start a movement to put an end to it.
