Tanushree Dutta hits back at Ganesh Acharya calls him a liar

Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta had recently accused Nana Patekar of harassing her and intimidating her while shooting for a song of 2008 film ‘Horn Ok’. She had further added that choreographer Ganesh Acharya, the producer and the director of the film had not taken a stand for her. Recently, Ganesh had reacted to the allegations and had defended Nana Patekar. Ganesh said in the interview that he does not recall what exactly happened but added that the song did not involve any indecent steps, as alleged by Tanushree Dutta. Ganesh said that is was ‘pure dancing’.

Reacting to his defence of Nana, the actress today in an interview to ANI had lashed out the choreographer. She said, “He’s a bloody liar and a two-faced person. He’s going to say all that. And 10 years ago, he was one of those people who were equally complicit in the harassment. He won’t admit it.”

Tanushree had further alleged that she and her family were attacked after she refused to perform the intimate step. She also asserted that before she and her family could reach out to the police to file a case, the film crew had already filed a counter FIR.

Journalist Janice Sequeira in a Twitter thread claimed to have been present on the scene when Tanushree’s alleged harassment took place. She wrote that she could back up most of what Tanushree had alleged in her statements.

Tanushree further added that she wants them to suffer the consequences of what they did and wants the industry to ban them, so an example is set for others.
