Bollywood Actress Tanushree Dutt is back in Mumbai. She has been aiming to return to the big screen with a bang. The actress who started the #MeToo movement in Bollywood is hoping to team up with interesting filmmakers and actors for work.
The Ramaa actress told ETimes, “Now that I am back, I want to team up with everybody here. I want everyone to like me. I want to work, vibe, and hangout with everybody. Well… with nice people, of course!”
The Aasiq Banaya Aapne actress, who gained a few kilos, gets trolled on social media for her weight. The actress is bothered by the trolling, but she is confident that it will not interfere with the work that is coming her way. She told the same portal, “The industry has evolved. People are not expecting me to look this way or that way. This is how I look, and I want filmmakers to decide where I fit in.”

However, she asserted that she is familiar with Bollywood culture and that playing such a role would be difficult for her to pull off. “I know a lot of times you don’t even get the opportunity to audition for people you really want to work with because there is a business angle involved. When I was young, I was like, “I want to work with this director and that director’. I’ve stopped doing that. You put yourself in a place where you get disappointed,” she further shared.
Tanushree Dutta was last seen on screen in the 2010 release Ramaa: The Saviour. She left the Horn Ok Pleassss set of Nana Patekar’s movie in an incident that generated a media frenzy, and the movie wasn’t released until a year later.
