Apurva Trailer: Tara Sutaria promises a brutal, bloody and edgy survival thriller

Tara Sutaria made her Bollywood debut in 2019’s Student of the Year 2 and went on to appear in movies like Marjaavaan, Heropanti 2, Ek Villain 2 among many others. She will now headline Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s gritty thriller Apurva. The makers have now dropped the power-packed trailer of Apurva and Tara Sutaria exuding intense and vengeful aura has intrigued us.

The trailer features Tara as Apurva who lives an ordinary life, but tragedy strikes when she visits her boyfriend played by Dhairya Karwa at Agra. Few goons trap her and even brutally assault but Apurva finally manages to escape their clutches while they are still in quest of her. The engrossing visuals showcase a dramatically raw and fierce transformation of Tara who draws onto her inner strength to survive and live.

Tara Sutaria speaks on headlining this unique project, “I am overwhelmed by the immense love and appreciation that our first look has received. ‘Apurva’ has been the most challenging and rewarding experience for me with regard to performance and it is also starkly different from any role I’ve played before. The fierceness and power of this character is what drew me in from the beginning! This is the role I’ve longed for since I began my career, and I can’t wait for the audiences to watch the film.”

Dhairya Karwa marks his second outing after Gehraiyaan with this thriller. He adds, “Exploring the intricacies of the character was challenging and exciting at the same time. Apurva stars Tara Sutaria, alongside Dhairya Karwa, Rajpal Yadav, and Abhishek Banerjee. It will release on Disney Plus Hotstar on November 15.
