Now that she is waiting for the release of her upcoming film, Ek Villain Returns, she gave a pleasant surprise to her audience today by announcing her next project.

After playing the female lead in all her films till now, Tara Sutaria will now be headlining her first female-led film as the eponymous protagonist in Apurva. Taking to her Instagram, the actress announced, “Fearless has a new face, and her name is #APURVA! I am so honoured and thrilled to play such a strong, powerful young woman. (sic)”.

Not just that, Tara also gave an insight into the premise of the film, as she wrote, “Apurva is a game of survival with impossible odds. A nerve-wrecking tale that keeps you hooked till the end. (sic)”. Produced by Star Studios and Murad Khetani, Apurva is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and showcases the gripping story of a girl who survives a dangerous night, using her wits and strength in this high-stakes game of life and death.

Tara is very efficiently choosing projects to showcase her versatility, and the edge-of-the-seat thriller Apurva just adds to it. Meanwhile, her next film Ek Villain Returns is set for a release on July 29, 2022. It features her alongside Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham and Disha Patani and the film is directed by Mohit Suri.
