This is why Tara Sutaria will not be a part of ‘Arjun Reddy’ remake

Shahid Kapoor will kick-start the shoot of Hindi remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ in October, once he is back from the paternity leave. The film which is directed and written by Sandeep Vanga will have the actor flaunting a rugged and beard look and Shahid has already begun growing a beard for the same. And, according to recent reports, Tara Sutaria, who was going to feature opposite Shahid in the film is no more a part of it.

Tara Sutaria is currently busy shooting for Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year 2’ along with Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday in Dehradun. Directed by Punit Malhotra, the film is a sequel to 2012’s hit film of the same. The makers had decided to release the film in November this year. However, the film has been pushed to May next year and the makers of ‘Arjun Reddy’ have agreed that their film will release after ‘SOTY 2’.

Now, that we know the film will hit the theaters next year, Hindi remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ cannot release before the mentioned film. Therefore, the makers and actress have decided to part ways mutually. After parting ways, they are looking out for a new leading lady. The film will hit theaters on 21st June 2019.

Producer of the film, Murad Khetani, told Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, it is true Tara is not a part of our film anymore. Our shoot is on schedule and we should be locking our leading lady in the next couple of days.”
