Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has given rise to many theories like he had no works, he was sidelined from the industry, banned by the privileged producers and actors and elite Bollywood camps and whatnot. Also, it is said that all these made him slip into depression. Kangana Ranaut who is very upfront has also spoken on ‘nepotism’ and ‘favouritism’ in the industry post Sushant’s death. She even claimed that Sushant was a victim of a mental lynching and she called out the biggies of Bollywood.
Now, in a tweet, Kangana has spoken about the fake #MeToo accusations on Sushant. Kangana wrote, “Its very easy to isolate anyone play with their mind make them depressed and then suggest suicide as a long term solution to their unbearable pain, many vulnerable minds have fallen in to this trap(sic)”.
She replied this to a tweet that read, “Remember the FALSE #metooindia campaign against Sushant Singh Rajput? He publicly admitted that the FALSE reports of sexual harassment made him feel depressed. I am sure now these “journalists” can confirm who was the source behind that smear campaign(sic)”.

For the unversed, in the wake of #MeToo movement, there were reports of Sushant sexually harassing his ‘Dil Bechara’ co-star Sanjana Sanghi. Later, Sushant along with director Mukesh Chhabra and Sanjana denied all the reports.
