Okay, here comes an interesting trivia about Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor’s ‘Mubarakan’. Portions of the film were shot at the Gurudwara of Kent, which is known as the largest Gurudwara of Europe! The team not only made sure they followed all the rules of the holy place, but 150 odd members would attend the Langar everyday.
“We were so happy that we got permission to shoot in this specific Gurudwara because it is such a beautiful place. We have shot a very important scene in the film at this place and our crew members developed an emotional bond with the Gurudwara people. In fact, when we wrapped our London schedule, some members from my team again went to Gurudwara to meet them and give them a good-bye hug. Without their support, it wouldn’t have been possible to shoot Mubarakan there,” director Anees Bazmee said.
The upcoming comedy also features Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty as lead actresses, and would hit the theatres on July 28.
