
Actor Dhanush is currently in Delhi filming Tere Ishk Mein, his upcoming Hindi film directed by Aanand L Rai. This marks a reunion for the actor-director duo. They previously collaborated on the 2013 film “Raanjhanaa” and the 2021 film “Atrangi Re.”

Images and videos from the film’s shoot have surfaced on social media, offering fans a glimpse into the production. Several photos and videos were reportedly captured by students. They show Dhanush filming on the campus of Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC).

One photo captures the actor running through a crowd, with social media users noting that his appearance requires “no de-ageing” to portray a college student, despite being 41 years old. Another video showcases Dhanush preparing to film a scene, with the art direction suggesting a scene related to college elections. The character’s name, Shankar Gurrukkal, is hinted to be a student leader.

Addressing thematic similarities between Raanjhanaa and Tere Ishk Mein, Aanand L Rai stated that while the new film stems from the world of Raanjhanaa, it is not a direct sequel. He explained that both films explore similar emotional depths, including themes of love, anger, and tragedy. Kriti Sanon will also star in the film, where she will play the character Mukti, the film is slated to release this year.
Dhanush’s upcoming projects
In addition to Tere Ishk Mein, Dhanush is also working on several other projects. He is currently shooting for Kubera in Telugu with Sekhar Kammula and his directorial debut Idly Kadai in Tamil, along with a film with Rajkumar Periyasamy.
