In 2004, filmmaker Indra Kumar came with one of the first adult comedy films in India, Masti. The Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani-starrer was a commercial hit at the box office. The film tickled the funny bone of the audience but there was a track in the film that also made them emotional, Dil De Diya sung by Anand Raj Anand. The song depicted the repentance of the three husbands as they are about to face the fate of their cheating, and now the soulful track is being reprised for the filmmaker’s next, the Sidharth Malhotra, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh-starrer Thank God.

Thank God features Sidharth as a common man who is in the limbo between life and death and comes face to face with God Chitragupt, played by Ajay, who makes him come to terms to all the sins he has committed by playing with him the game of life. The sins include anger, lust, jealousy and many more. The whole set up of the film seems quite intriguing and it has been creating quite a buzz around. Thank God releases theatrically this Diwali on October 25.
