The actual reason why Neetu Kapoor didn’t attend Shashi Kapoor’s Christmas party!

The Kapoor khandan is famous for their royal celebrations; no matter what the occasion is. Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor, on the occassion, had called for a special Christmas lunch. However, to everyone’s utter surprise, Neetu Kapoor, who also happens to be Rishi Kapoor’s wife and Ranbir Kapoor’s mother, gave it a miss!

We of course were speculating that she simply wanted to avoid being anywhere around Katrina Kaif (Oh yes, you got it right. Kat has finally made it to Ranbir’s family photo). In past, with more than one gestures, she has made it clear that she’s not really very fond of her son’s present beau. A lot of eyebrows were raised when she took it to social networks to post a photo of Ranbir and his ex-flame Deepika; NOT Katrina!

But well, Neetu has something else to say about this. This year, Samara wanted to see Santa Claus, so we took her to a hotel, but by the time we got done, the lunch was over at Shashi uncle’s place! We sacrificed our lunch for my granddaughter”-she said.

By the way, we actually hope that the ice between both of them has melted!
