Denim love
Recently, Sussanne Khan was snapped in a casual denim shirt dress outside Olive Bar & Kitchen, having a good time with her girlfriend Anu Dhawan. We think she looked pretty stunning as the collared dress featured colourful patchwork and had this lovely easy-breezy vibe! The lady clubbed it with a dainty chain sling and shimmery gold platform sandals that added a hint of glamour to the otherwise laid-back look.
And the trolling begins
While we still couldn’t stop admiring how cute she looked, we were let down by superfluous trolls about how uncomfortable she looked because of the front slit on the dress. We also came across hilarious opinions on social media platforms that suggested that she had forgotten to wear pants and it is probably the new trend amongst old ladies. There were many who also lambasted her by saying that she should take cues from other stars before stepping out in such an inappropriate dress.
The slit drama
And that’s exactly why we want to thank these so-called liberal haters. They taught us a really important lesson in fashion; that it’s easy to pass judgment, but it’s even more crucial, especially in these times, that you shouldn’t give a damn about what people think. So, what if you look a little uncomfortable in an outfit? What if you just don’t feel like dressing up one day? Whether you show up like a zombie or Cinderella, it’s not anybody’s business.
Small, careful steps
Whether it was the recent ‘indecent dressing’ episode of Indian Women's Cricket team captain Mithali Raj’s or Priyanka Chopra’s meeting with PM Modi, it’s a good sign that there are still many supporters who step up and are not willing to let anyone get trolled for their life choices or styles.
This entrepreneur is fierce, independent and doesn’t really need a mention of her association with superstar ex-husband Hrithik Roshan’s for an introduction. Yes, we are talking about Sussanne Khan. But even with all that talk of make-believe freedom we scream from the rooftops in this 21st century, women are still not immune to public scrutiny and trolls on social media.

Something exactly similar happened to Sussanne Khan, when the lady when out for a dinner outing recently. Little did she know, that a good time would result in dirty news splashed all over tabloids, scrutinising few inches of skin. (Also Read: Hrithik and Sussanne party the night away with friends.
