The first half of the film sees Adi (Farhan Akhtar) on his search for a fakir (a sadhu like figure) who could be a part of an exhibition in Venice. His search takes him to Benares, and after a lot of trial and error, he finds Sataar (Annu Kapoor).

The film is filled with situational comedy that feels a little raw but does make you laugh. Annu Kapoor’s claim to fame is his ability to bury himself in the sand. He is an alcoholic and his performance is top notch. Farhan, on the other hand, is not at his best. Even though he plays an urban character who is a lot like him, the movie fails to be gripping for more reasons than one.
