The first look of Farhan Akhtar from ‘Lucknow Central’ is captivating

Here comes the first look of Farhan Akhtar from ‘Lucknow Central’. In the picture, we see him holding a jail placard which mentions his name as Kishan Mohan Girotra, his jail number and the date. It finally mentions the name of the jail, ‘Lucknow Central’. He is seen sporting a stubble, with a tilak on his forehead, and heavily oiled and sleeked-out hair. Have a look at the poster here:

The story is about a movement, Kishen’s campaign of #KishanNirdoshHai, and how it draws support for Kishen in prison. The story depicts the court’s decision whether to set him free or convict him. His character is from the city of Moradabad who aspires of becoming a singer. The movie will have a musical backdrop. The movie was also embroiled in a controversy about YRF’s ‘Qaidi Band’ stealing the thunder from Farhan’s ‘Lucknow Central’. The movie is helmed by Nikkhil Advani and he had earlier spoken about the same, to a popular agency. He had said, “We are extremely excited about this project as it’s a unique concept set against the backdrop of a jail and its inmates. The stellar ensemble cast adds further charm and intrigue to the film and we can’t wait to bring this captivating drama to the viewers.”

The movie will be releasing on September 15, 2017.
