The Girl On The Train is one of the much-awaited movies in Bollywood. Parineeti Chopra stars as the lead in this one along with Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary. There have been several comparisons made ins o much time between the original 2016 The Girl On The Train. The American film was based on Paula Hawkins’ 2015 best-selling novel. Parineeti has big boots to fill as she steps into a character played by Golden Globe Award-winning actress Emily Blunt.
The trailer of The Girl On The Train is finally out it definitely looks intriguing. Drawing parallels just based on the trailer, the movie looks promising. Parineeti’s character manages to glue you to the scene in the trailer, but there is only so much one can say.
The trailer begins with a kohl-eyed Parineeti looking at Aditi’s character Mobi Mehta chilling in a balcony. Pari’s character Mira reveals that ‘she’ (Mobi) reminds her of her past. “She’s everything I lost,” said Mira Chopra. Mira is a bit more entangled than on the surface as she suffers from amnesia, which refers to the loss of memories after she met with a car accident in the past.
Mira’s obsession with Mobi lands her on Mobi’s residence and next thing you know Mobi is MIA. Kirti Kulhari, who is the investigating officer questions Mira about her involvement in the case, but Mira can’t fill in the blank spaces. Mira is entangled in a murder investigation that would reveal deep secrets about her own life.
