Rani Mukerji starrer Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway was an emotional story that connected with everyone. Interestingly, the movie also earned well at the box office as it brought Rs 21.67 crores

The Kerala Story

Adah Sharma starrer The Kerala Story not only surprised the producers but is also one of the biggest hits of 2023. The movie was one of the highest grossers as it collected Rs 242.20 crore at the box office.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke

Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal starrer managed to come closer to the Rs 100 crore mark. The movie which was made on a budget of Rs 40 crores managed to earn double. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke collected Rs 88 cr at the box office.

Gadar 2 (for the scale of ROI)

Yes, Gadar was a hit and it was expected to do good business but never expected to do such a phenomenal business at the box office. Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2’s lifetime collection was Rs 525.45 crore. It was the fourth movie to enter the Rs 500 crore club.

OMG 2

Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 clashed with Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 at the box office. While the latter movie was collecting moolah at the box office, the former managed to collect Rs 150.17 cr.

12th Fail

Vikrant Massey starrer 12th Fail was another surprise hit of 2023. The movie which was made on a budget of Rs 20 crores earned Rs 52.18 crore at the box office.
