The pair of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ may comeback on-screen with Aanand L Rai’s next?

Aanand L. Rai has become one of the prominent filmmakers after giving quality films like ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ series and ‘Raanjhanaa.’ The director who turned producer with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Manmarziyan,’ is gearing up to start his next directorial venture. So, here’s a good news for his fans.

The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ director recently was in the news for not casting Kangana Ranaut in lead for this project. The director had approached another queen of Bollywood Deepika Padukone for this part who have agreed to be on board. But there is a surprise for all her fans.

Sources say that this Aanand L Rai directorial may see Ranveer Singh playing the lead. Apparently, the actor has also given his nod to this project.

Earlier the news suggested that Aanand had approached Shah Rukh Khan for this role. But nothing seemed to be materialised.

If this pairing of Ranveer and Deepika is locked it would be their third film together after super successful ventures like ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani.’
