The Railway Men FIRST look poster: R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu Sharma, Irrfan Khan’s son Babil to star in YRF’s web series

Yash Raj Films is now set to take over the digital space as they have now announced a web series titled, The Railway Men which is a tribute to the railway workers at Bhopal station who are the unsung heroes of the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, the world’s biggest man-made industrial disaster. The film stars R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu Sharma & Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan. The Railway Men first look poster looks pretty intense. They have even shared a little glimpse of the film on Instagram which tells us what to expect in the store.

The story is about the saviours who were a part of this incident. Sharing the first look poster on Instagram, Babil captioned it with, “Honoured to be a part of @yrfentertainment’s first OTT project #TheRailwayMen – a tribute to the unsung heroes of 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy. Saluting the courage of people who saved lives 37 years back.” Whereas Madhavan wrote, “Some stories need to be told. Honoured to be a part of @yrfentertainment ‘s first BIG OTT project #TheRailwayMen – a tribute to the unsung heroes of 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy that happened 37 years back.”

Talking about the series a source revealed to Mid-Day, “While Yash Raj movies are known for their star-studded cast, Adi knew that the show, given its subject, hinges on rock-solid performances. After months of discussing names, the team zeroed in on Madhavan and Kay Kay, two of the finest actors we have today.”

The Railway Men will be the first of five OTT projects slated for the 2022 release. The drama is slated for a December 2, 2022 release, with the makers currently locking the streaming platform.
