‘Beer Biceps’ Ranveer Allahbadia’s public apology
In light of the controversy, Ranveer Allahbadia also issued an apology, admitting he “shouldn’t have said what he said.” In a video posted to his X account, he acknowledged that his remarks were inappropriate and lacked humour. “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate; it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte, I am just here to say sorry,” Allahbadia expressed.
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court criticized Allahbadia for his comments but granted him protection from arrest. All individuals named in the FIRs are scheduled to appear before the National Commission for Women (NCW) next month after failing to show up on Monday.
