After the 2015 movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, we really missed Kangana Ranaut on-screen. But here’s a good news for all her fans out there. The actress had teamed up with director Hansal Mehta for the first time with their upcoming flick ‘Simran’, and now the makers have announced the release date of this.
Producer Shailesh Singh took to Twitter to share the release date of the movie, saying, “#Simran is in 15th Sept. 2017…@mehtahansal @Apurvasrani.” [sic]

Reportedly, ‘Simran’ is inspired by the life of an NRI nurse in the US named Sandeep Kaur who was sent to prison for robbing banks to pay off her gambling debts.
Kangana’s character is called Praful Patel in the movie and it also stars director Hansal’s favourite actor Rajkummar Rao and Sohum Shah, in pivotal roles.
We are definitely excited for this one.
Quiet, resonant, and creative, he can be seen immersed in his own world, and puts in his heart and soul into the one passion that he has, Bollywood. His line for survival? Feel happy to be a part of it.
