They called it ‘lady oriented’, a ‘fantasy above life’, and more importantly, they did not consider the fact that even women, especially Indian women, can have sexual fantasies. And thus, started the battle between CBFC and the makers of ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, where latter emerged victorious, and will soon be hitting theatres on July 21.
After releasing a poster which literally showed the middle finger (we are assuming, to the ones who tried to stop them, ahem, CBFC), the makers have now come out with an announcement for the second trailer of the film, which is daring and totally kickass.
They posted the same with a caption which takes a direct dig at what the officials at CBFC had said, while denying a certificate to the movie. “”Fantasy above life. Contanious sex scenes. Audio pornography.”

The movie is helmed by debutante director Alankrita Shrivastava and has garnered accolades at various festivals. It revolves around four women, at different stages and ages of life, who deal with their pleasures and fantasies as they explore the sexual aspects of life.
