The secret behind Katrina Kaif’s Red Hair in ‘Fitoor’

Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor is returning with another cinematic gem after a gap of three years with his upcoming film ‘Fitoor.’ The official trailer of the film released a few weeks ago met with an overwhelming response. One of the most striking factors was the new look donned by actress Katrina Kaif in this romantic drama.

The film which is set in the backdrop of Kashmir sees Katrina Kaif sporting red color hair. Everyone who looked at the beauty was more curious to know the reason behind this new look, so here’s the answer to it.

Recently, at a song launch event, Abhishek Kapoor stated that this new look is a tribute to Chinar tree. He said, “Chinar in the month of November is enchanting and that magic was very important for the film. And the red hair of our two leading ladies is a metaphor or a tribute to the red autumn leaves of Chinar.” 

This new look of red hair is also sported by actress Tabu who plays Katrina’s on-screen mother in the movie.

Katrina Kaif who has not met with big success in her previous flicks is looking up to this film with great expectations. So, with much of positive response coming in for her new look and the sizzling chemistry she shares with her co-star Aditya Roy Kapur, hopefully, ‘Fitoor’ doesn’t disappoint all the fans out there. 

‘Fitoor’ is based upon the novel of Charles Dickens titled ‘Great Expectations’ and is slated to release on February 12, 2016.
