Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for her next ‘The Sky Is Pink’ that is one of the most anticipated movies of the year so far. The movie marks her return to Bollywood after three long years. The story of ‘The Sky Is Pink’ is said to be very emotionally driven, as the latest report Shonali Bose revealed that Priyanka Chopra broke down on the sets of the film.
According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, the director of ‘The Sky Is Pink’, Shonali Bose spoke about Priyanka breaking down on the sets and crying uncontrollably. She said, “Another emotional shoot was when she had to break down after a scene. After I called “cut”, I hugged her and she couldn’t stop crying. She kept whispering, “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry. I know now what it means to lose a child. I am so sorry for Ishlu.” I continued holding her.”
‘Ishlu’ is Shonali Bose’s son Ishaan who passed away a few years ago. Ishlu is not a name that Aditi – on whom the story is based, calls her son. Shonali also spoke about how Ishlu’s name came to be in the film, she said, “Priyanka called Ishan “Ishlu” which is not a name Aditi calls her son by. Priyanka heard me calling my Ishan that’s when she spoke about him and asked me, “Can I call him Ishlu in this scene?” I just smiled from ear to ear.”
