Irrfan Khan’s spokesperson dismisses rumours of Shah Rukh Khan helping the actor

A few days back, news about Shah Rukh Khan helping an ailing Irrfan Khan had surfaced over the web. The story suggested that Irrfan, who has been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour expressed a desire to meet his good friend and ‘Billu’ co-star, Shah Rukh Khan before leaving for his treatment in London. After Irrfan’s wife informed the same to the actor, he immediately rushed to meet the latter.

It was also mentioned that SRK pent nearly two hours with Irrfan, and before leaving, handed him the keys of his London house. The ‘Om Shanti Om’ actor wanted to make sure that Irrfan and his family felt at home in London while battling the health crisis. Shah Rukh Khan’s gesture for his friend was appreciated by his fans but now it turns out that the whole story holds no truth. Shocking, Isn’t it? Well, we were taken aback by the same initially, but a statement by Irrfan Khan’s spokesperson made us believe it.

Irrfan’s spokesperson statement reads, “The story floating around of Shahrukh and Irrfan is a fragment of the imagination of some individual who has whipped out the story through their unreliable sources. It has no truth to it”.

This has left us wondering as to why few people cook-up stories in their head and speculate the same. Anyway, talking about Irrfan’s health, the actor is responding well to the treatment and his two upcoming projects are ready to release, one being ‘Karwaan’ and another one being his Hollywood project ‘Puzzle’.

Whereas, his good friend Shah Rukh Khan recently wrapped filming for ‘Zero’ which also features Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and R. Madhavan in pivotal roles. ‘Zero’ is produced by Gauri Khan and is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
