The trailer of Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Munna Michael’ is a snooze fest

So, finally the wait is over for the fans of Tiger Shroff as the trailer of his upcoming film ‘Munna Michael‘ is out. The film is much-anticipated for various reasons, the prime one being the teaming up of Tiger with powerhouse performer Nawazuddin Siddiqui. After having a look at the trailer, well, we must say that it does not live up to the high bar of expectations it had set, and is strictly average.

The trailer starts with the rocking entry of Tiger Shroff, and is followed by some superb dance moves by him, quite like the late dance and singing legend, Michael Jackson. After that, the trailer introduces the other two pivotal characters in the film that of debutante Nidhhi Agerwal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. There is a slight comic respite in the form of a sequence wherein we see Nawazuddin dancing, but apart from that the trailer does not leave any lasting impact. Tiger’s dance moves, and a handful of scenes featuring Nawaz are the only saving grace of the trailer. Niddhi Agerwal is beautiful and there is no doubt of it, but she looks completely lost and misfit around a fiery Tiger.

And yes, we do get a punchline from Tiger. But, but, but, unlike his other movies, the punchline of this looks quite forced. In fact it looks like a forced attempt to cash on Tiger’s style of delivering punch lines. Watch the trailer till the end, you will know. Directed by Sabbir Khan, ‘Munna Michael’ will be the director’s third film with Tiger after ‘Heropanti’ and ‘Baaghi’. The movie will be releasing on July 21, 2017.
