On Saturday night, superstar Salman Khan picked up the Viewer’s Choice Best Actor trophy for his portrayal of a wrestler in his last blockbuster film ‘Sultan’. The actor who is currently undergoing training for his upcoming action film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ chose to share his painful experience of the physical transformation that he went through from fat-to-fit after his film ‘Sultan’.
At the red carpet of Zee Cine Awards 2017, Salman shared, “There is a lot of pain in undergoing physical transformation. I have been training for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and there is another film that I am training – it’s a dance film.” (Also Read: Check out: The complete winners list of Zee Cine Awards 2017)
“For ‘Sultan’, I was 96 kgs. I have shed 18-20 kgs,” added the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor.
The dance film referred by the superstar is a project which will see him teaming up with director Remo D’Souza for the first time.
Apart from this above dance film project and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ is all ready to release during the festive season of Eid. Whereas, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ will see him opposite Katrina Kaif which is targeted to release next year during the time of Christmas.
