Actress Katrina Kaif who celebrated her birthday on July 16 also made her debut on Facebook. But, there are rumours buzzing around that it was one of the Khans who insisted Kat to join Facebook. According to rumours it was Salman Khan who advised Kat to join Facebook.

According to a source close to a popular publication, “Of course the final decision to take the plunge and get on Facebook was her own. But Katrina definitely got some solid and sensible advice on this matter from Salman. A part of her reluctance to get on a social platform had stemmed from her closeness to Ranbir Kapoor. Since he stayed away from Twitter and Facebook, so did she.”

Salman Khan gave Kat a sweet welcome on Facebook and she also had a good reply to the actor.
