This actress and not Sonakshi Sinha was the first choice for ‘Mubaraka’

Anees Bazmee’s ‘Mubaraka‘ has been in news for its star cast since a while now. While the male lead is already said to be Arjun Kapoor, the movie has three heroines, and the makers are a having a difficult time finalising them.

It was recently reported how Sonakshi Sinha turned down the offer to play one of the female leads in the film as she did not find the script appealing and she also wasn’t willing to share screen with her ex, Arjun. But let us tell you that Sonakshi wasn’t the first choice for the film. According to reports, Anees’s original choice was Parineeti Chopra, who had earlier starred opposite Arjun in ‘Ishaqzaade’.

But Pari too wasn’t keen on starring in the film. Actually, the actress was not sure what her role would be especially when it has 3 heroines.

The makers have already zeroed in Athiya Shetty, Ileana D’Cruz and Amy Jackson for the film, which will see Arjun in a double role. ‘Mubaraka’ also stars Arjun’s real-life chacha Anil Kapoor playing his uncle.
