The newest addition to the league of Indian superstars? Prabhas, of course. The mammoth success of ‘Baahubali’ franchise not only introduced him to a new height of fame, but also made it evident that yet another mass entertainer is here with all his convictions.

Post ‘Baahubali 2’, the actor was flooded with film and endorsement offers. However, as choosy as he is, he signed the multi-lingual ‘Saaho’ and is presently working on it. (Also Read: Prabhas won’t give his time or energy for yet another ‘Baahubali’)

But behind every successful individual, there’s an inspiration. Ever wondered what was it, in Prabhas’ case? It is a 1976 movie titled ‘Bhakta Kannappa’.

The film, which is based upon the story of a real life, Shiva devotee, had deeply moved Prabhas, who himself happens to be a Bhakt of Lord Shiva. For those who remember, his character in ‘Baahubali 2’ as well was an worshipper of Shiva.

His forthcoming release ‘Saaho’ also stars Shraddha Kapoor and is set to hit the screens later this year.
