This is how Emraan Hashmi pacifies his wife every time he kisses onscreen

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, started his career with numerous kissing scenes in almost all of his films. This earned him the tag of a ‘serial kisser’. The actor confessed at the launch of his book ‘The Kiss Of Life’ yesterday that the tag has been the bane of his life. The reason being that everytime the ‘Raaz’ actor kisses onscreen his wife starts sulking.

Emraan said, “My wife Parveen calms down only after I gift her a bag for every film I kiss in. Now she has got a cupboard full of bags. She still sulks. She doesn’t hit me as hard now, earlier it used to be with a bag, now it’s just with the hand. So she has kind of come down over the years.”

When asked that in ‘Azhar’ where he shared a number of kisses with Nargis Fakhri did he buy his wife as many bags? Emraan added, “As many times, but bag is only once. We’ve had a barter deal; that way I told her that I’ll be broke. Don’t take money for everything, take money for the film and buy a bag from it.”

There is a rumour in Bollywood circles that the movies in which Emraan has not kissed have turned out to be a flop at the box-office. Therefore kisses are considered lucky for his movies. But in recent times, some movies where he did kiss, too failed to score at the box-office.

His recent release ‘Azhar’ gained him accolades and now he is gearing up for his next, a supernatural thriller ‘Raaz Reboot’.
