Superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 51st birthday yesterday and had organised a grand bash in Alibag.

While the party saw the presence of industry elites like Karan Johar, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey and Kajal Anand, along with Ranbir Kapoor, Imtiaz Ali and Ayan Mukerji, it was said that lovebirds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were invited too. But the couple apparently decided to give the party a skip.

But the reason behind it is quite cute.

According to reports, Deepika actually wanted to spend some time with Ranveer at his home, before they both get very busy with ‘Padmavati’.
