THIS singer will croon the title track in Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Dangal’

Aamir Khan’s upcoming ‘Dangal’ is creating ripples ever since the poster of this movie was released. As it is slated to release during Christmas festival, the makers have to still come out with much more publicity stuff of this biopic sports drama film. But certainly, the fans of Aamir Khan would be happy to catch on this latest report related to ‘Dangal’. Popular pop singer Daler Mehndi has been roped in to croon the title track which, according to him, has meaningful lyrics and will charge up the audience.

Talking about it to an agency, singer Daler Mehndi said, “My next song is for ‘Dangal’. Pritam has given the music for the film. It is a beautiful song. It is the title track. It is a very clean song with meaningful lyrics. People will love the song for sure. Whosoever will listen to the track will feel motivated and energetic.”

‘Dangal’ is a biopic based on wrestling coach Mahavir Singh Phogat (played by Aamir) who trained his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari in this sport.

Fatima Sana Shaikh, better remembered for playing the cute daughter of Kamal Haasan in his 1997 released family comedy film ‘Chachi 420’ as a child actor, will portray Geeta Phogat. Babita Kumari is played by a debutant actress Sanya Malhotra.

The film also stars Sakshi Tanwar playing the on-screen wife of Aamir Khan.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, it is slated to hit the silver screens on December 23, 2016.
