This TV star joins Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s period drama ‘Kalank’

Abhishek Varman’s multi-starrer film ‘Kalank’ is only getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. The film has an ensemble cast of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha. Apart from these stars, Kriti Sanon will be doing a “special song” for the film. Now, TV’s heartthrob Hiten Tejwani has joined the cast of this period drama.

Tejwani added, “I have come to know that I will start shooting from this month only.”When asked about working with Alia, Sanjay, and Aditya, the TV star replied, “I mean it’s a great thing and it will be lovely. I will be meeting them for the first time. I will be acting with them and be sharing screen space with them for the first time, so I am looking forward to it.”

Hiten has been a part of films like ‘Joggers Park’, ‘Krishna Cottage’, ‘Anwar’, ‘Entertainment’, ‘Thoda Lutf Thoda Ishq’, ‘Love Games’, ‘Shorgul’ and ‘Saansein’.

‘Kalank’ is produced by Karan Johar and the film went on floor in the month of April this year. Currently, Alia and Varun are shooting for the film with Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the city. ‘Kalank’ is all set to hit the screens on April 19, 2019.  The film is co-produced by Fox Star Studios. Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will be reuniting with Karan Johar for the fourth time now.

Apart from this project, Alia Bhatt will soon be seen in ‘Gully Boy’ with Ranveer Singh and ‘Brahmastra’ with her beau Ranbir Kapoor. Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ will release in Feb whereas ‘Brahmastra’ will release in August next year!
