Tiger 3: Emraan Hashmi is ready for ‘aatishbaazi’ as a menacing antagonist in the new poster of the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer

Tiger 3 is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year. The Maneesh Sharma directorial is headlined by Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The Tiger 3 trailer was released yesterday and it has amped up the curiosity even more. There was no doubt that Salman and Katrina left everyone stunned as Tiger and Zoya. However, it was Emraan Hashmi as the menacing villain who stole the limelight in the upcoming movie. A fresh new poster of Emraan Hashmi from Tiger 3 dropped recently and it has drawn everyone’s attention to it.

Emraan Hashmi opens up about his character in Tiger 3

Speaking about the character, Emraan says, “I had an amazing time creating Aatish – a man who is fuelled by rage and will go to any length to finish Tiger. I play a very distinctively different villain that is rare in Hindi cinema. He is cerebral, his mind is his greatest weapon and he also wields immense power over authorities across countries to bring his devious plans into motion.”

Sharing the new poster from Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi captioned, “Aatish ke saath aatishbaazi… bhaari padega Tiger.”

Further, he also revealed why his character was kept under wraps for a while. Emraan said, “The anti-heroes of the YRF Spy Universe have been the trump cards. They hit you hard by surprise and Aditya Chopra was clear that he wanted my character to also catch people by surprise. So, an elaborate plan was made to keep me under wraps.”

Emraan opens up about playing a villain

There’s no doubt about netizens being excited to watch Emraan Hashmi play the villain ‘Aatish’ in Tiger 3. Speaking about the same, he said, “Anti-heroes are always fun to play because you get to essay someone who doesn’t care a damn about rules. Instead, they create their own rules. So, I jumped at the opportunity because I knew that I will have the freedom to create a villain that people will hopefully remember for a long, long time.”

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is all set to release in theatres during Diwali, on November 12th, Sunday.
