In his upcoming release ‘Baaghi’, Tiger Shroff is at his fittest and energetic best. The makers call it a tribute to Kalaripayattu, a form of martial art. No wonder they chose Tiger, for his fitness and stamina are unmatchable, among the gen-Y actors of Bollywood.
‘Baaghi’ is his second venture. Given how a number of young actors including Arjun Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan are struggling to make their own mark in Bollywood, every film certainly comes as a challenge to a fresh actor. In an interview with Bollywood Life, when asked whether he is feeling the competition in industry, and who he looks up to as an actor, this what Tiger had to say…
“There is so much competition. The actors are so prepared. Keeping that in mind I always ask myself, ‘How am I different?’. I always motivate myself this way. And not just because I’m my father’s son — that doesn’t give me a right to be a hero — but what is my identity? How can I express my talents? Keeping those things in mind, I always push forward and I always want to differentiate myself in the crowd. I am a big fan of Hrithik Roshan and I believe he is different and I want to go along that path. I want to follow his blueprint,” he said.
Now, we like that. Showbiz is a place where new talents pour in almost everyday and being unique is the only way one can be remembered.
Good going, junior Shroff!
