Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to make a movie on Amish Tripathi’s ‘The Immortals Of Meluha’. The movie that wil be made under Dharma Production banner has Karan Malhotra signed up as its director. K Jo wants a strong male lead for his movie who can take the it to a higher level.
As per sources, Karan had considered Hrithik Roshan to play the main role . As he has the looks and the body to carry it. But due to health issues the latter walked out of the project.Now it seems that Karan has zeroed on to Tiger Shroff whose debut film ‘Heropanti’ is to release on May 23, for the role of Lord Shiva as he has shown his physical strength in the trailer. Shroff himself is a huge devotee of Lord Shiva and takes inspiration from his stories.
‘The Immortals of Meluha’ is the first novel of the widely popular ‘Shiva’ trilogy series based on the Hindu God of the same name. The story revolves around the fundamental concept that all Gods were once human beings and the deeds they carried out throughout their mortal life is what made them famous as Gods.
So will it be Tiger Shroff to play the role of Shiva in Kjo’s next?
