Recently, Tigmanshu Dhulia came on a launch of a international children’s film festival. The director who is popular for his films ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ and ‘Saheb Biwi Gangster’ series was asked about the reason for the less ratio of films made on children. But his answer was given away in the best form of sarcasm.
The filmmaker said, “Who said so? These days big directors are only making children’s films. All these cars flying in the air and stuff like that.” Was this answer a dig at the new ‘commercial formula filmmaker’ Rohit Shetty? He designs his action with the flying of Cars turning a compulsory stunt for every film he makes.
Tigmanshu Dhulia was later asked about the Big stars working in such films could make the film successful? He replied, “Big stars or small stars should be decided according to the script, but a big star cannot see a bad story.”
Now let’s see what the ‘Singham’ maker has to say when he hears this comment made on him. We have to wait and watch.
