On Sunday, Indian shuttler PV Sindhu created history by becoming the first Indian woman to win two individual medals at the Olympics. Sindhu defeated China’s He Bingjiao in the badminton women’s singles to win the Bronze Medal in the ongoing Tokyo Games. After Mirabai Chanu, Sindhu became the second Indian athlete to win a medal in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020.
