Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning trailer: Tom Cruise starrer gets compared to Pathaan

Mission Impossible is one of the most favourite franchises in the world and people have loved Tom Cruise and the action sequences that keep improving with each film. Every new release in the franchise gets massive love from fans and the fan base for these films increases. The trailer for the new film, Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One is out.

Fans were quick to respond in the comments section of the film’s trailer. They called it is a masterpiece. They also called Tom Cruise is still going strong at 60. The franchise never fails to deliver an amazing set of performances.

But fans on Reddit were quick to notice similarities between this and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. The action sequences, the train scene and few chase sequences had a similar appeal to that of Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan. 

Mission Impossible is a story of Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise). His IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet. For which, they have to track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. Ethan is focussed on this mission and has to choose it above the lives of his loved ones.

Christopher McQuarrie had directed Mission Impossible Death Reckoning Part One. The story is by Christopher McQuarrie & Erik Jendresen and is based on the series created by Bruce Geller. Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie have produced it.

The film will release in theatres, Dolby Cinema, Premium Large Formats and IMAX on July 14 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
