Toofan Teaser: Farhan Akhtar promises a power packed performance as he juggles to change his destiny

The teaser for Farhan Akhtar starrer Toofan dropped just a few minutes back on Friday. The teaser packed with powerful punches, hard-hitting dialogues, and a constant hustle to change one’s destiny has already got us intrigued. Farhan Akhtar is seen playing a goon from Dongri who embarks on a journey to become a national-level boxer. He is in his top form if we go by the teaser and we cannot wait to witness more of his journey in the sports drama directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Shah, and Hussain Dalal in pivotal roles.

While Farhan plays the ‘hero’ who dreams of a better future and works hard relentlessly to achieve it, Mrunal’s character encourages him to take the right step and keep going. Paresh Rawal plays the coach who will end up being a mentor to the goon, just like Randeep Hooda in Sultan. Farhan shared the teaser on social media and wrote, “It fills me with immense joy to give you the first glimpse of a film into which we poured all our love, passion, exuberance and madness. It truly is a labour of love and today I am so excited to share it with you. Here’s presenting the #ToofaanTeaser ?.. big big hug.”

Toofan releases on May 21, 2021, and is one of the most awaited ones. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video and has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and Farhan Akhtar. After slaying the role of an athlete in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Farhan is all set to deliver one more power-packed stellar performance in Toofan, which has already got us hooked with the teaser.
