Total Dhamaal: Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit to team up after 17 years

In the late 80s and then in 90s, there was one onscreen jodi that was loved by everyone. Well, we are talking about the hit jodi of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. They have worked together in 16 films till now, and most of them were successful at the box office. And how we forget the famous ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’ in which both of them with their sizzling chemistry had set the screen on fire.

Their last film together was 2001 release ‘Lajja’, but the two didn’t share screen space in the film, so their last film as a Jodi was ‘Pukar’ which had released in 2000. A few days ago, there were reports that Anil and Madhuri will be once again teaming up soon with Indra Kumar’s ‘Total Dhamaal’, and now, the director himself has confirmed it. While talking to Ahmedabad Mirror, the filmmaker said, “Yes, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit have been paired in ‘Total Dhamaal’ which goes on the floors in January in Mumbai.”
