In an attempt to reshape the entertainment landscape, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and Amit Chandrra-led Trigger Happy Studios have entered into a significant multi-film deal. This strategic alliance promises to deliver a dynamic blend of innovative storytelling and cinematic excellence, captivating audiences across the globe. This collaboration aims to create a diverse range of content, with a primary focus on theatrical releases while also exploring digital avenues.

Renowned for its dedication to quality and pioneering spirit, the studio continues to set benchmarks in the Indian film industry, offering a wide range of genres, from the intense war drama Lakshya to the crime-thriller franchise Don and the light-hearted humour of the Fukrey films.

Trigger Happy Studios was launched last year by global advertising giant Hakuhodo, led by Amit Chandrra. With over two decades of success & experience in the Indian entertainment industry & leveraging Hakuhodo’s global creative prowess and distribution network, Trigger Happy Studios is now focused on producing and distributing feature films and international co-productions that push the boundaries of storytelling.

The partnership has already assembled a roster of renowned directors who are currently developing content across various genres. The first project under this collaboration is set to be announced imminently, with production commencing within the next couple of months.
