Triptii Dimri to romance Fahadh Faasil in Imtiaz Ali’s next? Here’s what we know

Triptii Dimri has cemented her place as one of the bankable stars of Bollywood after her stint in Animal. She delivered an impressive performance with back-to-back releases like Bad Newzz, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 among others. While the actress prepares for her upcoming projects, an interesting update has surfaced. Triptii Dimri is all set to share screen space with Fahadh Faasil in Imtiaz Ali’s next project.

As per reports in Peepingmoon, the movie starring them will be an unconventional love story, in line with the genre Imtiaz is popularly known for. The Jab We Met director is currently putting the final touches on the script and aiming to commence production in the first quarter of 2025.

A source quoted by the portal says, “Fahadh Faasil will make his Bollywood debut with this film, and he’s extremely excited to begin his journey in Hindi cinema with Imtiaz Ali, who is one of his favorite Bollywood directors. They’ve been discussing this project for months, and it was recently finalized contractually. Triptii’s pairing with him adds an exciting and unique dimension to this collaboration. Imtiaz is known for pushing boundaries in love stories, and this one promise to stand out in his repertoire”.

For those unversed, Imtiaz Ali and Triptii Dimri have previously worked together on Laila Majnu which starred Avinash Tiwary. The film recently re-rleased and garnered massive response. While Fahadh Faasil has reprised his role as villain for Pushpa 2. The film is releasing this week and one cannot wait to see his menacing avatar.

Triptii’s upcoming movies

On the work front, Triptii Dimri is all set to be a part of Dhadak 2 alongside Siddhanth Chaturvedi. She is also reportedly a part of Aashiqui 3 alongside Kartik Aaryan. She will also be a part of Nadiadwala’s production yet untitled film with Shahid Kapoor.
