‘Tu Laung Main Elaachi’: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are back with another recreated song

In Bollywood, the trend of recreating old songs is not going to end anytime soon. Looks like Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming film ‘Luka Chuppi’ has a soundtrack full of recreated songs. After unveiling songs like ‘Poster Lagwa Do’, ‘Coca Cola’ and ‘Photo’, now the makers have released yet another recreated song- ‘Tu Laung Main Elaachi’ which is reprised version of the hit Punjabi song ‘ Laung Laachi’ that featured actress Neeru Bajwa.

While the original song was crooned by Mannat Noor, the new version is sung by Tulsi Kumar and it has been re-composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The original song has a pleasant and soothing feel to it, the recreated is bit of a dampener in that zone.

In the song, we can see Kriti Sanon and Kartik pretending to be married and entertaining their family members who don’t know the truth and are celebrating the occasion.

Going by the film’s soundtrack it seems like the makers just want to encash on the popularity of the already hit chartbusters songs. How we wish they had something original to offer too.

Helmed by Laxman Utekar, ‘Luka Chuppi’ also stars Aparshakti Khurrana and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to hit the silver screens on March 1.
