After delivering an intense film like ‘Begum Jaan’, Vidya Balan is all set to entertain her fans by featuring in a comedy drama ‘Tumhari Sulu’. It is about a homemaker whose dreams get wings when she turns into a night radio jockey. Directed by Suresh Triveni, ‘Tumhari Sulu’ seems to be a lighthearted film that will bring a smile on your face. It was supposed to release on November 24, 2017 but we have now learnt that the film has been pre-poned. It will now release on November 17.
Atul Kasbekar, one of the producers of the film have shared this news on Twitter. He has tweeted, “Happy to lock the release date of our next film #TumhariSulu Nov 17th at a theatre near u ????.” [sic]

Though we wonder why the makers have changed the release date, one can assume that it could be because Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ is releasing on December 1. It is one of the most anticipated films of the year and gauging the response received by ‘Padmavati’s trailer, the film is definitely going to be a hit. Hence, in order to have a longer run at the box office, ‘Tumhari Sulu’ seems to have been preponed. This gives the film a good two weeks to mint money.
