Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 and his death took the entire nation by shock. His last silver screen appearance was in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Chhichhore’ that had an ensemble cast of Shraddha Kapoor, Naveen Polishetty, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Tushar Pandey among others. Recently, the film clocked one year and on the one year anniversary of ‘Chhichhore’, the star cast and the crew remembered Sushant with a special video.
Recently, we had a conversation with Tushar Pandey and asked him about his special memories with Sushant. To which he said, “For me ‘Chhichhore’ has been a very big film personally. It is a very important film both in terms of the exposure it gave me and the film I got an appreciation for being part of it. So, for me, that film holds a very important place. Some people have really inspired me on set. Sushant had reached such a high position but when we interacted I never got a feeling that he had achieved so much and I am new in the industry. But he would be so open for rehearsals and suggestions. I remember there were a couple of scenes where he used to ask me, ‘What do you think?’ as he knew I was from a theatre background and he was someone who was interested in theatre a lot.”
He continued, “I felt genuinely elevated when I was exposed to such brilliant minds and people. He is an inspiration and I’m glad that I am able to be part of that film and he was able to be a part of my life now forever.”
