TV actor Shaheer Sheikh to mark his Bollywood debut with ‘Mental Hai Kya’

Over the past few days, the Internet is abuzz with the news of television actors bagging Bollywood films. While, in the past, a similar wave has been seen, this time around the actors who are stepping into B-town, are fortunate enough to land a role in films with A-list actors. Say for that matter, the ‘Naagin’ actress Mouni Roy has three big-budget films in her kitty- Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Brahmastra‘, John Abraham’s ‘RAW’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold,’ which is her debut film. It was just yesterday when the news of Hiten Tejwani joining the cast of ‘Kalank’ broke the internet.

And now, the latest TV actor who will make his Bollywood debut is none other than ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Bhi’ actor, Shaheer Sheikh. Recently, a picture of Shaheer along with the entire cast of ‘Mental Hai Kya’ had surfaced on the Internet, which clearly said that the actor is a part of the film. A source close to Bollywoodlife also confirmed the same saying,”Yes, Shaheer will be seen in ‘Mental Hai Kya‘ but in all possibility, it is a small cameo. He is now with the team having a great time in London. He is great friends with Ekta Kapoor as well.”

In the past, Shaheer has worked in a number of television shows out of which the most recent one is ‘Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi’. Apart from Hindi shows, the actor has appeared in few Indonesian shows as well. Now, as he embarks on his Bollywood journey, we wish him all the luck.
