Twinkle Khanna clarifies after social media trolls her for posing on books

The virtual world needs just one excuse to troll. The latest one to have fallen prey to their merciless jibes is, Twinkle Khanna.

The actor-turned-producer and author recently posed for Vogue India. She was seen sitting on a pile of books, and kept her left foot on a stool. However, her followers mistook the stool to be another pile of books, and started trolling her.

To clear that she had no intentions of keeping her foot on books, she soon added a clarification on the same photo. (Also Read: Paper gajra; a thing that Twinkle Khanna has been recycling for years…)

“Sometimes I get to do this as well- like the Madonna song ‘Strike a pose -Vogue, Vogue Vogue!’ @vogueindia P.S For the easily outraged : My foot is on a stool and not a book because I don’t want to get dust on the cover- aside from that I have no qualms with sitting on books, sleeping next to them or even keeping a pile in the bathroom to read regularly-The God of Wisdom visits you when you read books not worship them – Love and laughter from this bookworm,” she wrote.
