You can hate her, love her but you can’t ignore her and she is none other than ‘Mrs. Funnybones’ Twinkle Khanna. The actress has always remained in news for her sassy replies, sarcasm and witty remarks.
Twinkle has always accepted that she was a reluctant actress and she feels that acting was a wrong decision for her. At the age of 38, Tina (Twinkle Khanna) realised that she is actually made for writing and today she has emerged as one of the popular columnists and loved authors in the country. Her recent published book is ‘Pyjamas are Forgiving’.
At an event organised by YFLO Delhi, Twinkle called herself a ‘misfit’ in the industry. “I would be knitting on the sets of my films or reading. My grandmother taught me how to knit and ours was a nice hippie household. Someone was always reading, or knitting or playing the guitar. But it didn’t seem like a fitting thing for an actor to do back then,” she was quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicle.
When she was asked as to why she doesn’t write a book on Bollywood, she said that she finds Bollywood boring and less interesting. Twinkle added, “I have seen it and why would I write about it. It is too familiar.”
Also, she said that she wouldn’t ever write a book on herself as she feels that it would be all lies. She quipped, “All that you can find about me is in these books, in fiction.”
