Death may take your loved ones from you, but the memories still lives on forever. And the legacy of India’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna will live on forever. Today on Rajesh Khanna’s ninth death anniversary, his daughter Twinkle Khanna remembered him with an emotional post. Twinkle shared a clip from a documentary that was made on his father. She also penned a note in the memory of her legendary father.
Twinkle shared a clip from the BBC documentary titled Bombay Superstar. In the video, we see Rajesh shooting for the song, Suno Kaho Kaha Suna from 1974 film Aap Ki Kasam. He is also seen answering the reporter’s question on his working style and what he loves the most about acting. The superstar also says that he doesn’t mind doing the same shot again and again until they get a perfect take on a perfect beat.
Alongside the clip, Twinkle wrote, “I have his eyes, my son has his smile and the world has pieces of him embedded in their hearts. He still lives on…(sic).” Twinkle is married to Akshay Kumar and the couple as a son Aarav and a daughter Nitara together.

Rajesh Khanna, termed as the first superstar of Bollywood, died on July 18, 2012. He is survived by his wife Dimple Kapadia and daughters, Twinkle and Rinke Khanna.
